A family of faith that believes in the grace, love, peace and mercy of God as experienced in and through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We strive to be Christ-like, taking joy in the Holy Spirit working through us, all while humbly accepting our humanity.
Our weekly worship services strive to lead us toward BELIEVING in the Good News of God's grace and forgiveness that comes to us through Jesus Christ our Savior ... by our Lord's love for us. Our many ministry programs nurture us in BELONGING to a community of caring where we are supported and treasured as children of God. All the sermons in the world cannot replace the kind word spoken in a time of hurting, the gentle hug, or whatever it takes to assure a person going through a difficult time that they are not alone, that they are surrounded by a family of faith who truly cares about them. And once engaged in our family of faith, all of us continue our journeys to BECOME all that we may be in Christ.

It is one of three synods that were part of the Central Pennsylvania Synod of the Lutheran Church in America, a predecessor body of the ELCA...
Major emphases of the synod have been our outdoor ministry at Camp Mount Luther, training Authorized Lay Worship Leaders, supporting our companion synods in Liberia and Germany, and collecting “Christmas at Sea” bags for Seafarers International House. Read the latest mission strategy here."
