This committee is responsible for all things music in the church! This group decides on the hymns for all of our upcoming services and organizes various choirs for special holiday services. If you are musically inclined, or want to assist in selecting the hymns that we sign in our service every week, this group could use your help!
If you possess any fix-it skills, this is the spot for you! If something breaks or leaks or needs updated, or a facelift, the Property Committee takes responsibility to see the project gets done. They have repaired cracked tiles, leaky faucets, burned out ballasts. If this sounds like something that you could do, we could use your help!
This is another busy committee that has a lot of ways to volunteer. They collect different items to donate to various community and nationwide groups. Their regular events include the Night of Joy/Clean Hearts, which is a household goods giveaway and meal held monthly and that is open to the community. It is held on the last Tuesday of each month. This group also holds an annual blood drive to benefit the Red Cross organization. Any talent that you possess would be a great addition to this committee!
This group of volunteers is responsible for planning special events for the congregation and for the community at large. Some annual events that we all look forward to are the Valentine’s Day Dinner, The Palm Sunday Brunch, and the Family Church Picnic held at Sunnybrook or Knoebels. This committee is always seeking volunteers to help with these and other events throughout the year!
The Christian Ed. Ministry provides Sunday School, VBS, Confirmation Classes, and Adult Bible Study. Perhaps you love children and would enjoy spreading the word and love of Jesus to them. If you have children, get them involved too! There are so many fun and rewarding activities provided by this team. Keeping our children and youth involved is one of our most important ministries.
This committee takes care of preparing the altar as the seasons of the church calendar change throughout the year. Perhaps you are known for your bread making and could contribute by baking bread for communion on a given Sunday. Or you would be welcome to join any established team to prepare our altar.
